The Blue Falcons Trust 

The Blue Falcons Trust is an independent body set up using legacy funds of the Blue Falcons Gymnastic Display Team. The trust aims to provide practical financial assistance to organisations supporting young people from Chelmsford and the surrounding areas . This could be supporting programmes and activities such as staff and volunteer training courses or just specific appeal donations. We are open to discussing ways to help young people on many levels. The trust will also consider direct personal applications from young person or persons that may need financial assistance of some kind, this would be subject to supporting information from a professional body of some kind.     

Our aim is to work closely with local charities and organizations where young people may be involved and in need of a little extra help.

Trust aims are to distribute grants that support young people. Funding is available to organisations for a wide range of uses or for an individual that an organisation may request on behalf of.  

 An organisational grant could be used for the following:

• Training of staff for long term programmes in support of young people
• Training for volunteer programmes 
• Group activities for young people
• Sponsored request on behalf of an individual 

An individual grant could be used for all manner of purposes such as:

• Specialist educational books for university or college
• Travel warrants for university site visits
• Specialist tools for apprentices
• Interview outfits
• Train fares for interviews
